I Think I'm Lost

Have you ever been driving some where and not have a clue of where you are going. I know I have. With todays technology you never have to deal with being lost again. GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) is a device that tells you where you are at all times. You can key in a destination and it can give you direction of exactly where to go.

Advancements have been made to these devices over the past few years. Many of these GPS systems you can now load movies, music, and pictures on and watch them when you don not need direction. Most have voice communication and tell you aloud when to turn. Most cell phone now are coming with GPS applications and can tell you when there is heavy traffic approaching, roads are closed, or if there is a faster route you can take. You can easily key in point A to point B and decide if you want the quickest route, shortest route, or if you need to stop by certain points of intrest or rest stops along the way.

These devices can help many people out. Truck drivers can use these to find the quickest route and have supplies delivered faster. Police and emergency personel can use these devices to serve the community by knowing the most direct or faster way to get to a crime seen or accident. With the GPS technology many lives can be saved by having a faster response time to any scenerio.

At first just the early makes were mostly picked up by gadget fanatics or people who just wanted to stay up to date with the latest technology. Now you can find these devices coming stock in most cars, cell, phones, and even some marine vehicles. Whatever the reason may be for needing one, I suggest you investing in one. You never know when you made make the wrong turn and end up lost on the way to a very important meeting or job interview.
